Biography

Mohammed Aliyu was born on 17th July, 1970 in Bida, Bida Local Government Area of Niger State, Nigeria. He had his primary education in Sabongida Primary School, Bida between 1975 and 1981.  He attended Government College, Bida from 1981 to 1986.  He attended Staff Development Centre, Bida (CABS) from 1986 to 1987 where he obtained Certificate in Social Welfare.  He also attended Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru from 1988 to 1991 and obtained Certificate in Supervisory Management.  He graduated from Usumanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto in 1996 with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science.  He had his NYSC in Abuja, Federal Capital Teritory from 1997 to 1998.  He also obtained a Master Degree in Public Administration from Usumanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto in 2016.

Mohammed Aliyu joined the service of Federal University of Technology, Minna and started his career as Administrative Assistant in 2004.  Since then, he has been in the service of the Federal University of Technology, Minna where he rose to the  rank of Deputy Registrar.  He served in various capacities and has over 20 years of administrative experience.  He has attended several local and international professional workshops and conferences.  He is presently the Secretary, Postgraduate School, Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria.  He is happily married with children.  His hobbies are reading, traveling and intellectual discussions.
